The bourbon cousin of the Negroni — whiskey replaces gin for a richer, warmer bittersweet classic. Equally stunning stirred or on the rocks.

- 45 ml bourbon
- 30 ml Campari
- 30 ml sweet vermouth
- 1 piece large ice cube
- 1 strip orange peel
Steps
- 1Add bourbon, Campari, and sweet vermouth to a mixing glass filled with ice.
- 2Stir for 30–40 seconds until well chilled.
- 3Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube, or into a chilled coupe.
- 4Express an orange peel over the drink, rub it around the rim, and drop it in.
