Crispy shredded cabbage and carrots in a creamy, tangy dressing — the ultimate BBQ side.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 head green cabbage
  • 0.25 head red cabbage
  • 2 large carrots
  • 120 g mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp celery seed
  • to taste salt

Steps

  1. 1Shred both cabbages finely using a knife or food processor.
  2. 2Grate the carrots.
  3. 3Whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, and celery seed.
  4. 4Toss cabbage and carrots with the dressing.
  5. 5Season with salt, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
