Creamy and aromatic lamb liver pâté with herbs – a delicious Easter appetiser spread on toasted bread slices.

Ingredients

Serves:6
  • 400 g lamb liver
  • 80 g butter
  • 1 pc onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 50 ml white wine
  • 0.5 tsp thyme
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch parsley

Steps

  1. 1Clean and slice the liver.
  2. 2Melt half the butter, sweat onion and garlic.
  3. 3Add the liver and cook 5–7 minutes.
  4. 4Deglaze with wine and cook off.
  5. 5Blend all ingredients with remaining butter, thyme and parsley until smooth.
  6. 6Season, pack into ramekins and chill 2 hours.
  7. 7Serve with toast.
