A modern Easter twist on the classic kozunak – fluffy sweet bread swirled with dark chocolate and cocoa for a richer celebration.

- 600 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 150 g butter
- 4 pcs eggs
- 200 ml warm milk
- 7 g dry yeast
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 1 tsp vanilla

- 1Activate yeast in warm milk with 1 tbsp sugar.
- 2Beat eggs with remaining sugar and softened butter.
- 3Combine flour with vanilla; add egg mixture and yeast.
- 4Knead to a soft dough; rise 1.5 hours.
- 5Roll out dough, spread grated chocolate and cocoa, roll up.
- 6Braid in a greased tin; rise 30 minutes.
- 7Bake at 170°C for 40–45 minutes.
