Tender lamb baked with potatoes, onion and herbs – a comforting and complete Easter Sunday main course.

- 800 g lamb shoulder pieces
- 5 pcs potatoes
- 2 pcs onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 2 pcs tomatoes
- to taste salt and pepper

- 1Brown the lamb pieces in olive oil in a large oven-proof pot.
- 2Add onion, garlic and sliced tomatoes; cook 5 minutes.
- 3Add the quartered potatoes, rosemary, salt and 300 ml water.
- 4Cover and bake at 180°C for 1 hour 30 minutes.
- 5Uncover for the last 20 minutes to colour.
- 6Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
