Easy spiced honey cookies cut into Easter shapes – fun to make with children, and delicious with a cup of tea.

  • 100 g butter
  • 80 g sugar
  • 80 g honey
  • 1 pc egg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger
  • 0.5 tsp bicarbonate of soda

    Melt butter with honey and sugar over low heat; cool.

    Add egg, cinnamon, ginger and bicarbonate; stir.

    Add flour and mix to a dough; chill 30 minutes.
