What is the fixed lev-to-euro rate?
1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN — the currency-board fixed rate. It is used by the currency converter, the euro price check, and the euro transition guide.
Are the exchange rates accurate?
The lev/euro rate is fixed and always exact. Other rates are reference (indicative) values and are not intended for actual settlement or accounting.
How is net salary calculated?
The calculator applies Bulgarian income tax (10%) and the employee social-security contributions, and also shows the total employer cost.
What is the VAT rate in Bulgaria?
The standard rate is 20%. The VAT calculator can add it to a net price or remove it from a VAT-inclusive price.
