Scotch and Drambuie over ice — two ingredients and a lemon twist, and nothing else required.

  • 25 ml Drambuie

    Fill a rocks glass with one large ice cube or several solid cubes.

    Pour the Scotch and Drambuie directly over the ice.

    Adjust to taste: the classic is 2:1, but a heavily peated Scotch takes less Drambuie and a light blend takes more.

    Stir gently for 15 seconds to chill and marry.
