Easter Monday (Bright Monday) is the first day after Easter and continues the joyful Paschal celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. In Bulgaria it is an official non-working day when people gather with family and friends, crack dyed eggs together and greet one another with "Christ is risen!" — "Truly He is risen!". The day is part of Bright Week, filled with joy, visits and a festive table of kozunak and lamb. It brings the long Easter holidays to a close.
