What to do when
Waxing Moon in a favourable sign — tradition says the colour is richer and lasts longer.
Waning Moon in a favourable sign — hair grows more slowly, so roots show later.
Moon in Virgo or Libra; in Leo — tighter curls.
Moon in Taurus — by tradition the gentlest day if dye irritates your scalp.
