Steps
Steps
- 1Grind the biscuits to fine crumbs in a food processor, or crush them in a bag with a rolling pin. Grind the walnuts finely and mix both in a bowl.
- 2Warm 100 ml of the milk with the sugar and butter in a small pan over low heat, stirring, until the butter melts and the sugar dissolves.
- 3Take off the heat and stir in the cocoa and vanilla until smooth.
- 4Pour the warm cocoa mixture over the crumbs and mix into a soft dough that holds together when squeezed; if it is crumbly, add a little of the remaining milk.
- 5Cover and chill for 30 minutes, until firm enough to roll.
- 6Roll into balls the size of a walnut with cool hands and roll each in the coconut.
- 7Set them in paper cases and chill for at least 2 hours before serving; they keep for a week in the fridge.
