- 250 ml milk, warm
- 100 g plain yogurt
- 7 g dry yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 120 g butter, melted
- 250 g Bulgarian sirene, crumbled
- 2 pieces eggs

- 1Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm milk and stand 10 minutes until foaming.
- 2Add the yogurt and one beaten egg, then work in the flour and salt to a soft dough. Knead 8 minutes until smooth.
- 3Cover and prove 1 hour until doubled.
- 4Knock back and divide into walnut-sized balls.
- 5Roll each ball first in melted butter, then in crumbled sirene, and pack them loosely into a greased round tin.
- 6Brush the top with the remaining egg beaten with a splash of milk.
- 7Bake at 180C for 35-40 minutes until deep golden. Serve warm so it tears apart.
