The 2026/2027 school year starts on Tuesday, 15 September 2026. Christmas vacation runs 24 December 2026 – 3 January 2027, spring vacation 3 April 2027 – 11 April 2027 (grades 1–11) — per the Ministry draft.

The draft has no separate autumn vacation — instead 2 November 2026 is a non-school day (a 31 Oct – 2 Nov long weekend). A second variant is also under discussion: non-school days from 30 April to 9 May 2027, with grades 7–11 finishing on 2 July instead of 30 June. The grade-12 spring vacation and the remaining per-grade end dates will be set in the final order.
