Swiss Public Holidays 2032

In 2032, Switzerland has 4 public holidays (Swiss federal law fixes only one public holiday, the Swiss National Day on 1 August; every other public holiday is set by the 26 cantons. This page lists the four days observed in every canton: New Year’s Day, Ascension Day, the National Day and Christmas Day. Good Friday, Easter Monday and Whit Monday (24 of 26 cantons) and St Stephen’s Day on 26 December (21 cantons) are public holidays in most cantons but not all, and Berchtold’s Day on 2 January in about half — check your canton. Catholic cantons add days such as Corpus Christi, Assumption and All Saints’ Day).
